This one has been hanging in my sewing room for a few weeks now, just waiting for time to take photos. Anita knows she can’t wear her new mommy made clothes before they are photographed so she has been patiently admiring her new Sanamu jumpsuit/romper or what you would call it. Finally the stars aligned and we could take those photos!
Finally I have an Akinori!!
The Akinori has been on my to do list forever. After seeing so many gorgeous ones in my FB and Insta feed earlier this summer I knew it had to be my first sew after our summer holiday. Finally I have my very own Akinori!
A woven wrap delight.
It does look like wrap dresses are the thing these days. Usually I’m about a year or two behind on what’s in, but I actually have sewn a few both true and faux wrap dresses both in jersey and woven. I’ll put links to my previous posts at the bottom, but this post is all about the brand new Ava Wrap dress from Wardrobe by me.
Soray + Imari = Perfect Pair
This all started with Anita outgrowing her old denim shorts and I had decided that I would sacrifice one of my favourite fabric from my stash to make her a new pair. I know, I really love her! I had The Imari Shorts from Sansahash all cut out and ready to go when the tester call for The Soray Top and Dress came. Perfect timing!
The Moss Dress
I just tested for a new to me pattern company and it’s always a little nerve wracking to test for a new pattern designer. But I’m happy to report that testing for Sofiona Designs was a great experience and I hope to get the opportunity again.
Summer in Madrid
… or at least in the new Madrid Dress from Coffee + Thread. That’s almost equally as good, if not just better because I suspect its actually too warm in Madrid during the summer time. But the best thing would be to go to Madrid in my new Madrid dress of course.
Lovely Linea
Right before I threw my back out a couple of weeks ago I managed to test the new Linea A-line skirt from Wardrobe by me. My back is getting better but I must start taking better care of myself and work in some exercising time in between work and sewing. I hope that with brighter and longer days I’ll manage to keep up the motivation. But enough on that boring stuff, here is Linea!
All the heart eyes for Mirri
I’m about to show you one of the most flattering pattern I have ever sewed. It just hugs the body in all the right places and it looks awesome on all sorts of body types. Here is the awesome Mirri from Wardrobe by me.
The amazing Roho!
When the testing call came from Coffee and Thread for the new Roho Blouse I didn’t hesitate for a second to join the fun!
I love how dramatic the sleeves are and the gathered front.
So happy with her new outfits!
Anita was so happy with the new outfits I made her and on our way out to take photos she said it was so amazing that everything I make her fits perfectly. I couldn’t help not to laugh and told her about all the adjustments I do to make it so, usually grading each pattern between 3 and 4 sizes. I guess I’m spoiling her with custom made clothes, haha! Want to see her new clothes?
