I’m continuing with patterns named after our family members. Now it’s a gorgeous Mila Dress, we have a very cute Mila in our family who is going to need her very own Mila dress for sure!
Anna is my mother in law and our niece – and now the latest garment I sewed for me! Soon my daughter and I will only have clothes named after the people we love, haha!
Did catch your copy of the latest One Thimble ezine? There are so many patterns in there I’m dying to try out. I tested one of the patterns, The Spirited Dress which is Candice Ayala debut into pattern making. And what a debut!
When you are trying to work yourself out of a sewing blues period it’s so gratifying to find a FREE pattern thats also a fast and easy sew and your end product is very cool!
… using patterns from Wardrobe by me!
Christinas patterns fit me perfectly, they are usually drafted for 172 cm height so I never have to do length adjustments and the curves hit me in all the right places although I have to grade out a little bit for the hips if it’s a fitted garment. But hey, you can’t have it all on a silver plate now can you?!
Well, hello again and Happy New Year!
It’s about time to get back into the game after a total radio silence since the end of November. I was feeling a bit burnt out after all the craziness in November and Desember so I needed a break from obligations and deadlines. I’ll start the new sewing year with a polo shirt for my hubby, not to shabby I think.
