Its the season for new pj’s and with this brand new add-on to the Sai pattern from Sansahash my kids are all set in that departement, for now at least.
The add-on is as you can see a hood and a zip instead of snaps. There is also an add-on for a diaper placket if you have a young one in diapers.
These two munchkins of mine LOVE this and have been wearing them straight for a whole week now! Good thing they have their original Sai’s for when I have to sneak these away for a wash!
I was on autopilot when I sewed the cuffs on and forgot to do the rolled cuffs like the pattern says, but regular cuffs work fine as well.
The Sai sews up very fast and the instructions are very clear. I strongly advise you to use interfacing on the edges of the front main and facing pieces where the zip goes. Lets just say I tried it both with and without so I know what I’m talking about, wink wink. It will save you from a lot of frustration and you will get a perfect piece of pj’s.
The fabric I used for these I bought at Stoff og Stil. They usually have a nice selection of fun knit fabrics and I have never had problems with the quality of their fabric. That said if you want to win some really nice stuff from Chat Chocolat Fabrics you need to check out @sansahash. The give-a-way will start later today and the winner will be chosen on December 14.
The add on is on sale for only €1.50 but if you need the main Sai pattern as well you should use code SAIBUNDLE to get everything even cheaper. The code works for purchasing the bundle and not individual patterns.
Remember to hug the people you love, also smile and be kind and respectful to other people, its those small things that will help make our world so much better! And of course sew some pj’s for your kids, haha!
Love

PS: This post includes affiliated links, but my opinion is honest and my own. I would never bother sewing and blogging about something I don’t love, I have no time for that.
Love these beautiful kids and their pjs are super cute and look so comfy 💞😘
