Lets give it up for Lana this time!

Hope you guys are ready for more cute dresses!  I know Anita is always ready for a new dress so you just better be as well.

This is the newest piece in my little girls ever growing clothes collection, The Lana Top & Dress from Sansahash.  This is every girls dream dress.  It’s for knit fabric so its very comfy and it has a full circle skirt with a ruffle at the bottom, I mean just look at the twirl factor here!!

As if that isn’t enough, have a look at the back.  So cute!

You can make a top or a dress with different sleeve length options.  There is also an option for a gathered skirt without the ruffle.  I graded sizes from 5 chest to 4 waist and to 7 length, the pattern comes with excellent instruction on how to grade your pattern to get the perfect fit.  So don’t feel intimated by that.

The fabric I used is from the Garden Dreamer collection by Art Gallery I bought from Imagine Gnats.  You want to use good quality knit fabric for this dress as the full skirt with the ruffle is a bit heavy and you want the dress to hold its shape and not look pulled.  This Art Gallery fabric is perfect, very soft with good recovery and easy to work with.

Yep, she is pretty happy with her twirl dress!
