So I had decided that I was done with the princesses summer wardrobe then I just couldn’t resist any longer and made her a new Lilah dress and this time in knit, finally! I’m sure she will forgive me for keep making her cute dresses, wink wink.
The Lilah dress has different pattern pieces for the bodice in knit and woven so you don’t have to worry about sizing up or down to get the perfect fit for your fabric.
For Anita I made size 5 width with 6 length and I did a rolled hem on my serger to make this an even faster sew.
Fabric I used is from Elvelyckan I bought from a Norwegian online store called Stoffbutikken. This fabric is like butter, so soft and lovely to work with.
Twirling flamingos, it doesn’t get much better than that when you are almost 6 years old!
There is a sewalong going on at Sansahash so make sure you tag your photos with #lilahsewalong and #myprogressphotos for your change to win, but you have to hurry cause tomorrow July 7th is the last day! The pattern is on sale with a coupon code you can find in the Facebook group, so come and join the fun!
This is how much she loves her new flamingo dress!
