I promised to show you the other Lilah dress I made. On this one you can better see the lines of the pattern since the fabric isn’t as busy as on the other one I made.
This is still in a light weight soft woven cotton. It’s called Woodland Clearing by Liesl Gibson for Robert Kaufman. I’m pretty sure I bought this one also from Urban Sew.
This was actually my first muslin and I was sure there would be some changes along the way during testing so that’s why I choose fabric I had plenty of and had a simple print. But as you can see if you go by measurements the fit is spot on. Anita fits a size 5 around the chest and 6 on the length.
Poor kid has goosebumps! She is going to become one tough cookie with everything she has to go through having a sewing crazy mom, haha!
Next couple of weeks are going to be busy for me but after that I will make the knit version.
But for now we hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

My daughters truly understand what Anita goes through. Well, tough life 😀 This dress is so wonderful! I love it’s sweet and simple, but not too much (you know what I mean?). Where did you get this headpiece?! It’s so gorgeous!
