Another post this week!
I’ve figured out that if I don’t blog about my sewing stuff right away I dont get it done, because suddenly I have something new and exciting to share. Like now I have two very cool things in the works for the kids coming soon.
So here is the pink sweater dress you saw peaking out from underneath my lovely Cocoon Coat.
I used the Daisy Dropped Shoulder blouse. I think I added about 10 inches to the length and some pockets to break it up a little bit.
The neckline can be finished with either a facing or ribbing. I went with facing this time, it takes a little longer to sew but it gives a bit fancier outcome. I used yellow thread for all my topstitching, it’s not that easy to see but I think it adds a nice touch. I have a plan to retire my jeans and make about a million more sweater dresses and live in them, at least until spring time. I don’t know if I’ll use this pattern for them all, maybe I’ll try one with more fitted sleeves. We’ll see.
Fabric is from Stoff og Stil but I can’t find it on their site now, guess it’s sold out.
No time to waste, keep calm and sew on!
Love
Dagbjört.
