I’m so happy to be part of this blog tour celebrating Sofiona Designs one year anniversary! I was so eager to get on this tour I said I would make anything they needed, stay true to pattern or do a pattern hack. I must admit I had my fingers crossed for getting to stay true to pattern since I’m no designer. But no luck there – LOL! My assignment was to hack the Starry Night pj’s, hmm now how the heck am I supposed to do that? Haha! It took me a couple of months to come up with a plan and now I’m super excited to share what I came up with. Continue reading “Happy Anniversary Sofiona!”
I’m about to show you one of the most flattering pattern I have ever sewed. It just hugs the body in all the right places and it looks awesome on all sorts of body types. Here is the awesome Mirri from Wardrobe by me.
Anita was so happy with the new outfits I made her and on our way out to take photos she said it was so amazing that everything I make her fits perfectly. I couldn’t help not to laugh and told her about all the adjustments I do to make it so, usually grading each pattern between 3 and 4 sizes. I guess I’m spoiling her with custom made clothes, haha! Want to see her new clothes?
Its the season for new pj’s and with this brand new add-on to the Sai pattern from Sansahash my kids are all set in that departement, for now at least.
It’s the season for nice and cozy pj’s to lounge in, in the evenings and specially on the weekends when you have no plans and can just lazy about until noon or so.
The Komi Jacket from Wardrobe by me just had a make-over and now has more sizes and a new collar option and it can be made using both woven and knits. How awesome is that!
Anna is my mother in law and our niece – and now the latest garment I sewed for me! Soon my daughter and I will only have clothes named after the people we love, haha!
… using patterns from Wardrobe by me!
Christinas patterns fit me perfectly, they are usually drafted for 172 cm height so I never have to do length adjustments and the curves hit me in all the right places although I have to grade out a little bit for the hips if it’s a fitted garment. But hey, you can’t have it all on a silver plate now can you?!
