I think its very fitting to post my latest make today as it is Father’s day here in Norway and this one is for the man in my house. I rarely sew for him and when I was looking for fabric for this one he pretended to give me a hard time about all the fabric I buy and then he never gets anything from it. My answer to that was oh honey be careful what you wish for, mwhaha!Continue reading “Happy Fathers day!”
Anna is my mother in law and our niece – and now the latest garment I sewed for me! Soon my daughter and I will only have clothes named after the people we love, haha!
Well, hello again and Happy New Year!
It’s about time to get back into the game after a total radio silence since the end of November. I was feeling a bit burnt out after all the craziness in November and Desember so I needed a break from obligations and deadlines. I’ll start the new sewing year with a polo shirt for my hubby, not to shabby I think.
Have any of you ever won the big pot in the lotteri? I won 50kr a couple of weeks ago, thats little over $6.00 so not exactly the big pot hahaha! But early this sommer I was chosen to be a Sewing Portfolios Ambassador and I got 3 yards of fabric from Michael Miller to play with, now thats what I call winning the big pot!! I have been treating my fabric like gold and going back and forth on what to make from it. This is the first time I have been given fabric so this was truly a big deal for me and. Well, I finally found the patterns I wanted to use and be warned this post will be long!
So I’m changing things up a bit today, another model and another color scheme! I think Anita was glad to get some time off from the modelling, just wish I had her carefree spirit. She will be back here soon enough though.
