Happy Anniversary Sofiona!

I’m so happy to be part of this blog tour celebrating Sofiona Designs one year anniversary!  I was so eager to get on this tour I said I would make anything they needed, stay true to pattern or do a pattern hack.  I must admit I had my fingers crossed for getting to stay true to pattern since I’m no designer.  But no luck there – LOL!  My assignment was to hack the Starry Night pj’s, hmm now how the heck am I supposed to do that? Kamaria original and hacked!

Alrighty, I’m still here in case you were wondering!  So, May just flew by in a hurry.  But it sure was a great month.  My besties from Iceland came to visit and we had sooo much fun, you can’t even imagine.  We celebrated the Norwegian national day.  Then my in-laws came to visit and having family around is so wonderful.  Anitas RG-club (rhythmic gymnastics) had a great show celebrating the 5th anniversary of the club, that meant she had lots of extra practices and I helped out with making some of the costumes – dear lord!  Nothing came undone during the performances so thats something!

Issie Top Collection

So, I’m hopping on the Issie Top Tour Bus today along with two lovely ladies from Belgium With love by Eva and Stannel and I really don’t even know where to begin!  Maybe its best to start at the beginning?  That will take us all the way back to 2014.  Way back then I made the Little Betty Top by Sewpony and I even wrote a little blog post on it here.  I’ll show you a little preview…

Hera

Maybe you remember that a few weeks ago I posted a couple of summer tops I tested for Wardrobe by me, The Summer Breeze and The Summer Tulip.  Guess what, there is a third sister and her name is Hera.  But hold on it gets even better, YOU can get her for free!  That’s right $0.00!  All you have to do is sign up for the newsletter. 

Hera is a peplum top designed for light weight woven fabric.  Well, you know how rules are meant to be broken?  That’s what a few of us testers have been up to lately.
