This one has been hanging in my sewing room for a few weeks now, just waiting for time to take photos. Anita knows she can’t wear her new mommy made clothes before they are photographed so she has been patiently admiring her new Sanamu jumpsuit/romper or what you would call it. Finally the stars aligned and we could take those photos!
The Sanamu by Sansahash was released earlier this summer when we were on vacation so I didn’t have a chance to participate in the testing process but I bought the pattern as soon as it came out.
I made the capri length and I took out about 2″ from the width of the pants. The pattern comes with options of shorts or capri length pants or a dress version. I must admit I was a bit intimidated to put in the grommets. I have never done that before and it was really scary but I practised on scraps first and it all worked out!
Anita is more into pants than dresses these days, which is obviously much more practical for her as well since she usually has one leg over her head whether she’ll be standing or sitting down. Often enough she is also upside-down.
This beautiful ombre fabric is from Miss Matatabi, but has been in my stash for a couple of years so I can’t find it there anymore. It’s a wonderful light weight cotton.
Now we are going to enjoy this beautiful dry fall day!
