Early in the summer I tested the ladies Lana Top and Dress from Coffee and Thread, you can see my blog post here.  The kids version has now been released so now I can match with my mini me!  I hate to disappoint you though, cause you wont see any matching in this post.  Lets just say I’m saving that for later!

You get the title of my post don’t you?  Attitude much my little one?? Hahaha

The kids version comes with the option of a dress with a gathered skirt in addition to a top and a tee dress.  The fit is pretty relaxed and those ruffled sleeves are so adorable!  It was windy when we took these photos and I love how the wind caught the sleeves.

Thankfully her attitude is more sweet than anything else and I hope it stays like that for a long time!  I made her a size 5 width but lengthened to a size 8.  I can’t remember where this fabric came from.  I think I’m getting old I used to always remember where my fabric came from.  Well, its either that or I have too much fabric and have lost control!  Please don’t tell my husband!!

This is the tee dress and I remember that this fabric I bought from Imagine Gnats last year sometime.  The reason I remember that is I scrolled back here on my blog and found the dress I made for myself from this same fabric, hehe!

This is a fairly easy pattern, the only thing that takes a little bit of time is to sew the sleeves, but its far from difficult and the instructions are great as is to be expected from Coffee and Thread.

That about wraps it up this time around folks!  The release sale is almost over so hurry up and check out the pattern at Coffee and Thread!

I'm a mom to four fantastic kids, three boys and a girl. To teenagers and to toddlers so never a dull moment in our household :) We are from Iceland but have been living in Norway since 2001. I have a newfound passion for sewing. My hubby travels a lot for work and I needed something to do at night when the little ones are a sleep because suddenly my teenage boys would rather hang with their friends or play on their pc's than be with me - why is beyond my imagination :) Thanks to Pinterest I found some amazing sewing bloggers, whom I've been stalking, and realized that I could dig out my sewing machine and start sewing. Now it's all I think about. I've been hoarding pdf patterns and learning from all the amazing tutorials that are out there. I've decided to try out this blogging thing as well to document my sewing journey. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for stopping by, I would love it if you would leave me a comment! XOXO Dagbjört
