Good morning lovely people!
Today it’s my turn to join some amazingly talentet ladies on the Summer Breeze and Tulip Top blog tour.
I’m going to show you my Summer Breeze Tunic. I’m almost done with The Tulip Top it only needs a button, but it deserves it own blogpost anyway.
This pattern is designed for lightweight woven fabrics which makes it perfect for warmer days. It has bust darts, the neckline and armcye are finished with a binding. It’s easy to sew and easy to hack if you get a brilliant idea.
As always with a Wardrobe by me pattern size 6 was spot on for me and because of the flare of the ruffle I didn’t grade out at the hips this time. You can see a glimpse of my Frida Shorts from last year as well and I was very happy to find out that they still fit!
The fabric I used for my top is lightweight cotton I bought at IKEA of all places. Needless to say my husband approved of that purchase because it was super cheap, haha!
As often with blog tours there is a giveaway, yeah! If you want a chance to win you need to join the Facebook group and comment under the intro for the days blogs and at the end of each day a winner will be selected and at the end of the tour a grand winner will be chosen. Hop on over and test your luck!
But don’t worry if you don’t win, both patterns are still on sale for $7.00.
On that note me and my “grandson” Bonshie are off to check out the other bloggers on the tour and you should do the same.
Love
Dagbjört
