There is a new tunic for girls in town, her name is Ania and she is brought to us by Olga the mastermind behind coffee + thread.
I got to be in on the testing process and it was awesome. I don’t know where my luck is coming from these days but I hope it stays!
I made three Ania Tunics during testing, here is the first one.
Anita LOVES the bows on the pockets and now she wants bows on everything! Is that a good thing or a bad thing, I can’t quite decide. At least on this tunic it’s a good thing!
I made her a size 5 and the fit is very good. The fabric is some quilting cotton I bought last year at my local fabric store.
The pattern comes with options for short or long sleeves, it can be made in woven AND knit which is a great option I think and it comes in sizes from 9-12 months to 12 years.
I’m going to do separate blog posts for the Ania Tunics I made because they are all so cute and I want them to shine on their own. So I’ll be posting here for three days in a row now, hope you come back and check it out.
See you again tomorrow!!

I’m with Anita, bows on everything! I love things for little girls that are feminine, but not fussy. This is perfect. I’m putting it on the list for my two year old, as if I didn’t already have a million things to sew for her!
